Dr. Melissa DeVault

Dr. Melissa DeVault graduated from Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. Upon graduation, she moved to Portland with her husband, Trevor, and their ever-growing menagerie of pets.
Dr. DeVault’s greatest strength is the personalized approach to each pet. The quest for more knowledge and then applying that knowledge is what drives her passion for this profession.
When not in the clinic, Dr. DeVault can be found either gardening, at a dog show, or involved in one of the numerous activities that her two kids are engaged in.

Dr. Judy Reed

Dr Judy Reed grew up in Eastern Washington and attended Washington State University where she earned her doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After graduation she began her career at a Willamette Valley Animal Hospital in Keizer, OR under the mentorship of Dr Sheri Morris. In 2017 Dr Reed moved to the Tualatin clinic to continue working with Dr Morris. In 2021 there was an opportunity to purchase the clinic and Drs Reed and Devault decided to purchase WVAH of Tualatin and start a new chapter in their careers.

Dr Reed enjoys spending time running, hiking, traveling, wine tasting, reading and tending to her dahlias. She is married and has 2 children who keep her busy and constantly push her to be a better mom and vet.

While Dr Reed loves all cats and dogs she has a special place in her heart for golden retrievers and will often stop everything she is doing to pet a golden and check in with their owners! Dr Reed enjoys surgery and the detective work required to solve a complex medical case. She appreciates a good puppy exam but she truly loves working with older animals and feels passionately about supporting pets and families during the final stages of life.

Dr. Vanessa Gramlich

Dr. Gramlich graduated from Oregon State University in 2023. She was inspired to become a veterinarian after growing up in the Northern Mariana Islands where there was a large population of stray animals and limited access to veterinary care.
Before veterinary school she was interested in both large animal and small animal medicine with her experience focused on goats, pigs, dogs and cats. After doing an internship at WVAH in her 4th year, she felt at home. She loves that WVAH focuses on affordable care, is women owned and enjoys mentoring the new generation of veterinarians. When not working, she enjoys reading, painting and spending time with her two cats and one dog.

She supervises the veterinary assistants, the treatment area and is an advocate for all of the pets that are dropped off for exams, treatments, or surgery, making sure that their stay with us is as comfortable as it can be while they are away from home. Patti says It's wonderful working with a team that makes you feel like family. When not at work she enjoys watching British television, riding her horse, spending time with her dogs, cats and her little raptors (aka chickens).

He thinks the team here at WVAH is one of the best work environments he has ever worked in, and he loves coming in every day to work with everyone here. Before settling down in Oregon, he also lived in Upstate New York, Pennsylvania, and Southern California. When not at work, you can probably find him going on hikes and walks, watching film and television, reading books, playing video games, and spending time with his orange cat Shikamaru.

Megan

Megan is in the process of getting her Bachelors of Science in Animal Behavior. She wants to use her education and experience to help reactive dogs feel safe in veterinary settings. Her motive behind this is personal, as she has a reactive dog herself that just needs time and patience.

Megan’s idea of fun is doing anything with her dog Maverick. They both are active and enjoy sports. Megan grew up playing soccer and rugby. Whereas, Maverick is in the process of learning dock diving. They both enjoy running, hiking, and camping together as well.
